Which way home, a shocking real life documentary

This week, me and my friends watched a documentary called: "Which way home". It is about the very sad history about the kids and teens from middle and south america that leave their countries to try a new life in USA.

The most shocking from this is the fact that they go all alone, with no help from their parents, and also they do all the travel by train, which is illegal, but due to the amount of people that do this the government can't do nothing to stop them. They go on the top of the train, which means that there is no safety to them on their trip.

After reaching places nearby the borders from Mexico to USA, they have an even harder challenge, to cross the border. They have to cross a river AND a desert, which means that most of them die on them, from drowning or malnutrition.

Also, even after all that, they can be caught by the police and sent back to their countries, making all the travel useless.

And even when they are in the USA, they still don't have a place to stay, a job, not even an identify. It's like they were never born, just sent in a new world where they have to discover things by themselves.

  2. The documentary is valuable because it gives first-hand insight into what is happening day after day in Central America and the U.S. Valdir, you are right that although riding the train is illegal, so many people do it that the government cannot control them. Do you think that so many people come to the U.S./cross the border that the U.S. government cannot control them either? Is there a solution?... Does there need to be a solution? What do you think?
