The Milton House tour

In June 27th, me and my friends from Intensive English traveled to Milton/WI, not very far away from Whitewater.
There, we went to the Milton House. At first look a Inn, however that was a very important place for the slaves that escaped from their masters. The Milton House was a safe house where they could hide and wait as much as they wanted until they continue to their walk on the Underground Railroad.
Nowadays it's a museum, where it keeps some objects that were used on that time. Some of them really interesting, like Regina (using pierced papers and air to make sound).
But even more interesting then the objects, is the underground passage where the slaves used to hid themselves from the Slaves Hunter. It is not the same as before, or else we wouldn't be able to pass through, because it is really stretchy.
